I recently purchased a large lot of New Old Stock auto parts from the estate of an auto parts store owner who closed the doors of the shop in the mid 80's. Along with this lot of parts was a large number of rebuilt starters and alternators. I am listing all the starters and alternators here on Ebay starting at $9.99 each with no reserve. These starters and alternators are rebuilt and have never been used or installed. Some still have the boxes, others had tattered boxes that were thrown out. Smart For-Us concept unveiled at 2012 Detroit show
Tue, 10 Jan 2012Smart made a splash with its world debut at the 2012 Detroit auto show: its For-Us concept car provides a vision of the Smart as an American icon, a pick-up. The diminutive truck - just 3547mm long - is longer than a Fortwo, and is supposed to be based on the running gear of the next-gen Smart Forfour, aka the new Renault Twingo. So if the For-Us doesn't look so much like a Smart any more, from the front at least, that's why.
Rolls Royce redesigns sought in new competition
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Hip Shing Hong Group, Stefano Tordiglione Design and online design platform It's Liquid have launched a competition to redesign a Rolls Royce for a factory-turned-office project in Hong Kong. The contest, focused around the themes ‘Innovation', ‘Energy' and ‘Creativity', is giving the winners the chance to see their design displayed in the lobby of the new building. They will also receive a cash prize of HKD 20,000/EUR 2,000, while the second- and third-placed designers will earn themselves HKD 10,000/EUR 1,000 and HKD 5,000/EUR 500 respectively.
Toyota will recall 2.3 million more vehicles for sticking accelerators
