Audi RS6 Avant ‘Plus’ planned with 600bhp

Audi are planning a ‘Plus’ model of the new RS6 Avant which will come with around 600bhp and be a full production model. Just as they have with the launch of the TT RS Plus, Audi are planning to give the new RS6 Avant even more power than it already enjoys in an RS6 Avant Plus model, and it won’t be a limited edition model but a full production option. Talking to Car Magazine, Stephan Reil, Audi Quattri Division boss, said that Audi were planning a range of RS Plus models which could get not just a performance boost but less weight too.

Dave Hilton, Camilo Pardo and Laurent Nivalle collaborate on new exhibition

David Hilton, Camilo Pardo and Laurent Nivalle have collaborated on an exhibition that brings together the worlds of automotive design, art and photography. 'ART FAIR meets Cars and Glamour: Sexy from the rear-view' opens at the Galerie am Brüsseler Platz in Cologne Germany on Saturday 27 October for a month. Jaguar XJ preview (Video)

Ian Callum stars in this video to the left - a preview of the forthcoming Jaguar XJ set to make its debut on July 9th this year. In his words: "The car is very modern, and it certainly meets up the expectations of people who understand design with a capital D, I have no doubt about that whatsoever." Callum goes on to describe the new XJ as a "very well crafted car," stating that it is "also a very designer led car". He asserts that the lines of the car have been reinterpreted in a different way "that actually is right and correct for the 21st century.
