This a new 200000 mile high mileage badge created using the fused deposition modeling process. It is made from durable simulated brass color ABS plastic. It will not tarnish or corrode. It will withstand temperatures up to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not rare. It is reasonably priced. It is completely available. It displays nicely on any vehicle such as a Volvo, Valliant, Volare, or Victory Motorcycle. Or maybe if your name is Vicky or Victor or the like. See the action photo included in this auction! (Action photo of back of car may or may not have the actual mileage badge in this auction and is for example purposes only but it is one manufactured like the one in this auction.) Each badge is hand made one at a time, painted with high quality paint, and then sand finished for a nice end product. This badge is ten percent bigger than originally designed, with bigger print, and higher contrast so it is easier to read from a greater distance. Diameter of the badge is just slightly under three inches. Quality 3M double sided foam adhesive tape is affixed to the back ready to install. Shipping will be regular mail in a padded envelope. Performance figures for the front-wheel drive hot hatch look good: 62mph is dispatched in 6.1 seconds, the top speed is 155mph, and yet the Cupra R returns 34.9mpg. Thank the high-tech 2.0 turbo engine from the Volkswagen group, which in this incarnation makes 261hp. Helping get all that power through the front wheels is XDS, the same system you'll find on the Golf GTI that effectively mimics a limited slip differential through the use of electronic wizardry.
Finalists announced in exterior phase of CDN-GM Interactive Design competition
Thu, 24 Nov 2011The exterior phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design competition closed on the November 7th, with over 150 entries from design students based in the USA and Canada, making it our most popular interactive competition phase so far. After the press days of the recent LA Auto Show, judges and mentors from GM, along with our competition partners Dassault Systèmes, Faurecia and SRG Global, gathered at GM's North Hollywood advanced design studio to pick the finalists. Those chosen will be invited to attend the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit, along with finalists from the interiors phase, and on the second press day, interiors and exterior winners will be announced for each brand.
Saab to get BMW turbocharged engines in 2012
Wed, 29 Sep 2010Saab Automobile and BMW AG announced an agreement Wednesday that will supply engines for Saab's next-generation 9-3. Under the agreement, BMW will provide Saab with four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engines starting in 2012. The engines will be adapted to meet Saab's specific requirements.
