This auction is for one mirror assembly as shown in pictures. Mirror bracket is carbon fiber made by Old Skool Komposites. Bracket is approx. .080" thick. Made to attach to a standard 1.750 roll bar tube with a standard hose clamp. Mirror is a 3" round convex mirror. Attached to carbon bracket with 2 sided tape. The mounting bracket is two pieces. This allows the mirror to be adjusted up and down. Good for cars that have an angled a-post gusset bar. Some racers add a bead of silicone around the mirror. Just for an added level of insurance for those rough race nights. That is up to you. The complete assembly as shown weights 1.8 oz. total. Much lighter than the aluminum clamp on mirrors on the market.

I manufacture these mirror brackets in my own shop at Old Skool Komposites. I have a number of years experience in the composite industry. And have worked for a number of the top teams in Nascar. You are buying a top quality item. Not a cheap carbon fiber look alike. Mirror bracket is made from 100% real carbon fiber. If you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask.

Keep an eye out for more items from Old Skool Komposites. We are just getting started!

Wed, 07 May 2014

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 07 May 2014 15:02 BMW is marking the 30th anniversary of the M5 by building the most powerful ever version of its legendary super-saloon. The BMW M5 ‘30 Jahre M5’ has an extra 39bhp from a tweaked version of its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, plus there’s a smattering of special trim and anniversary badging, and just 300 will be built. Apparently ‘this power boost has been achieved through carefully calculated tweaks to the engine management and an increase in charge pressure’.

Mayor warning over London cycling protests

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

SAFETY protests sparked by the deaths of six cyclists on the streets of the capital risk scaring people off switching from cars to bikes altogether, London mayor Boris Johnson will warn today. Mr Johnson will urge "more careful" language, suggesting pro-cycling campaigners could jeopardise the push to boost bike use by concentrating on recent fatalities when overall numbers were not up. Mr Johnson - addressing a safety summit bringing together cycle and haulage groups - will hail a £913 million investment in safety measures but urge people not to expect instant results.
