Codemasters reveals more game details about upcoming F1 2010 in video

Tue, 27 Apr 2010

Video-game developer Codemasters has revealed more details and footage of its highly anticipated Formula One game, scheduled to be released in September.

F1 2010 promises to include all of the teams, drivers and circuits featured in the real-life 2010 championship. And if the latest video is anything to go by, fans of the sport and of racing games in general have much to look forward to. That's more than we could say about Codemaster's F1 2009 release for the Nintendo Wii, as that game was clearly a bit of a rush job and intended for kids and casual gamers, rather than the hard-core set of PS3, XBox 360 and PC gamers who will be able to play F1 2010 when it launches.

The Codemasters development team promises the best mainstream F1 game yet, and fans should be pleased to hear developers claim that the handling model is of the simulation variety, rather than an "arcade" physics engine.
