Subaru's first diesel shown

Thu, 08 Mar 2007

By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 08 March 2007 08:32 Hold on, where’s the rally car? Subaru may have transformed its reputation from builder of dull-but-sturdy farmermobiles to maker of fast-and-furious racers with a little help from Burns and McRae, but the game’s moved on and not everyone’s impressed by sub-20mpg Imprezas anymore. Wed, 08 Apr 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 April 2009 00:01 Land Rover is today unveiling a family of gently chiselled full-size 4x4s – think of it as Solihull’s answer to the changing zeitgeist and the next step in Land Rover’s greening of its range. The new Discovery gains a clean new diesel and can now claim a 30mpg average; there’s also a new interior and an exterior facelift – enough to warrant a new Discovery 4 badge. The big news under the bonnet of Discovery 4 is the arrival of the new Jaguar Land Rover 3.0-litre V6 diesel.

Toyota FT-86 Open Concept: The GT86 Convertible arrives early + video

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

The Toyota GT86 Convertible – in the guise of the FT-86 Open Concept has arrived earlier than Toyota would like ahead of a Geneva debut. Toyota teased the convertible GT86 with a sketch of the FT-86 Open Concept a few weeks ago – with a promise that all would be revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show – but it’s arrived a bit earlier than Toyota wanted. The intrepid folks at FT86Club have managed to come up with photos of the FT-86 Open Concept (above) – and video – ahead of the official reveal by Toyota – and it looks pretty good.
