2680 Forged 327 Small Journal 300/325 HP Crank Camaro Chevelle Corvette Nova L79.

Used OEM forged small journal Chevy 327 300/325/340 HP factory grind crankshaft with normal wear and tear. Nice survivor from an engine with no known mechanical issues. Original factory pilot bearing intact. Flywheel/flexplate threads intact with no damage but need cleaned and tapped. Rod journals measure approx. 1.998 +-, main journals measure approx. 2.298 +-. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to run this as is, or, maybe polish it, however, your machinist may recommend that you turn it, depending on your preference for tolerances. Used in 1962-1967 327's w/sp. h/per & fi including the L 79 engines per 1981, 1983 Chevy Parts Catalog. It's an unmolested virgin in very good condition with the factory markings indicating it may have been hardened and tuftrided. Beats the price of an aftermarket crank every time. The past weekend, the Harewood Speed Hillclimb in Yorkshire, England, celebrated its Golden Jubilee. For 50 years, vehicles have been making the run up a narrow, twisting paved lane on a stretch of rolling farmland near Leeds, trying to beat the clock. The route, of about 1,600 yards, at one stretch passes between two barns on the property.

Toyota is set to unveil its GRMN Sports Hybrid Concept II at the forth-coming Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race taking place this weekend. GRMN is an abbreviation of 'GAZOO Racing tuned by MN'. Gazoo being the Japanese motorsport specialist that has a loose affinity to Toyota following a collaboration on the iQ city car, whilst MN makes reference to ‘Meister of Nürburgring' or Hiromu Naruse; the Toyota test driver tragically killed behind the wheel of a Lexus LFA last year.

Extra-long-wheelbase BMW 7-series rumored for 2016

BMW may be planning to field an extra-long-wheelbase 7-series after the current model is replaced for the 2016 model year, BimmerToday reports. The current-generation 7-series has been with us since 2008, though its replacement is almost around the corner, relatively speaking. And even though the current version does not offer an extra-long-wheelbase body style, one based on the all-new 2016 BMW 7 series may be in the works.
