These dock lines are professionally spliced. The bitter end is whipped, and they have a 14" soft eye. I ordered them as 50', but as I measure them now, they come out to just over 48', including the eye material. I believe the rope used is New England Ropes, but I have no proof of that. They are very high quality dock lines, and appear perfect. I have never used these lines, but carried them in a locker on my boat "just in case". They appear as new. I periodically washed, and used Downey fabric softener on my lines, and included these lines in that maintenance schedule.
Mega Braid is a unique 12-strand nylon single braid, that absorbs kinks and is easily coiled or flaked. Developed specially for anchor and dock lines for larger yachts, it offers a combination of superb handling characteristics, excellent strength and controlled elongation in a torque free design.

First today we got the job news, then the news that the XJ is to broaden its appeal with the addition of Sport Pack and Speed pack, and now comes the confirmation that the Jaguar XKR-S Convertible will debut at the L.A.

Wed, 10 Aug 2011The first photo of the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport At the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring we got a sport concept of the new Suzuki Swift which Suzuki dubbed the Swift S-CONCEPT, even though we all knew it was a great big signpost towards the new Suzuki Swift Sport. And so it was, with the news last month (thanks to a an email from Suzuki in Russia announcing the 2012 Swift Sport ahead of the game) that the Swift Sport was heading for a production-ready debut and going on sale in 2012. So it’s not exactly a surprise that Suzuki has sent us a single image of the 2012 Swift Sport to tease us in to a full debut at Frankfurt.
Pagani Zonda Tricolore: One-off Zonda at Geneva
Sat, 27 Feb 2010The Pagani Zonda Tricolore - Geneva bound (click for bigger image) We already know that Pagani are taking the Zonda Cinque Roadster #4 to shove on their stand at the Geneva Motor Show, and you can add to that what could be considered an even rarer version of the Zonda – the Pagani Zonda Tricolore. This particulay Zonda has been created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian equivalent of the Red Arrows – the ‘Frecce Tricolori – and ordered up by a Pagani distributor, which almost certainly means it’s already sold – for €1.3 million. Based on the Cinque, the Zonda Tricolore gets a fancy paint job which includes stripes which mimic the colours of the Frecce Tricori.
