BMW i8 Spyder leaks ahead of Beijing
Sat, 31 Mar 2012BMW i8 Spyder What looks set to be the BMW i8 Spyder, an open top version of BMW’s i8 eco supercar, has leaked ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show. The gestation period for BMW’s i8 eco supercar started with the reveal of the BMW Vision ED Concept back in 2009, with a production concept – and the BMW i8 name – arriving last summer. And now, ahead of a debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April we get the first photos of the BMW i8 Spyder.
Peugeot 508 RXH heading to Frankfurt
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Peugeot 508 RXH - hybrid, 4WD and butch We had spy photos of what looked like a rufty-tufty, Allroad-style Peugeot 508 Estate back in February, and here we are in July with all the bumph on the Peugeot 508 RXH landing in our inbox. For the Peugeot 508 HRX is exactly what we spied back in February – a high riding 508 Estate with lots of toys; probably best thought of as the 508 Allroad. It gets the same jacked-up suspension as an Audi Allroad and the same butch bits of bodywork to make it look all rufty-tufty; fit for the fight in both the urban and rural jungles.

But those who don’t know about Bendix Woods County Park west of South Bend, Ind., feast your eyes on 5,000 pine trees, planted in 1937, spelling Studebaker when viewed from high enough. Bendix Woods park was formerly the Studebaker proving grounds, and much of the track surface is still visible in satellite photos.
