You are bidding on a part NOS, part used original & part reproduction late 1959 or 1960 Cadillac Cruise Kit.... that is complete. The throttle lever is NOS. The throttle rod is used original, however will probably need to be shortened as it is longer than 10.25". The brake release switch is NOS. The regulator or "brain" has been road tested on my own car & operates as it should. It has been cleaned & the internals relubed. Also a brand new Cadillac Regulator decal is included in this Kit. Two of the 3 cables are reproduction by a professional cable shop. The third (bowden cable)cable is an original. The controller/switch assembly has been disassembled/cleaned. The button or switch knob has some pitting & will require re-chroming for perfection. The wiring harness is a reproduction by a professional shop. The mounting bracket & dust shield are reproduction parts that were cast in zinc/aluminum from the originals. You may want to do some additional filing/sanding prior to installing/plating/painting. MA Transportation Design Program at the Umeå Institute of Design
Thu, 12 Mar 2009The Umeå Institute of Design at Umeå University Sweden attracts young design students from all over the world to its two-year Master of Arts degree program in Transportation Design, the first of its kind in the Nordic countries. This year's MA program, for which the Institute is anticipating another talented pool of applicants, is open for registration until the 15th of April. The body of students currently enrolled in the MA Transportation Design program is truly international, with representatives from Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Ireland, Spain, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
GM China opens Advanced Design Center in Shanghai
Wed, 19 Dec 2012General Motors China has opened a new advanced design studio as part of the establishment of its Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai. The Advanced Design Center will provide GM China's designers the tools to explore future mobility solutions and technology integration on a local and global scale. "Our new Advanced Design Center in Shanghai is part of the GM Global Design Center network, which webs from California to Germany to India and Korea and points beyond," said Wulin Gaowa, design director of the GM China Advanced Design Center.
