This is a complete license light assembly with body, gasket, lens retainer and socket with wiring which was used on all 1957 and 1958 Mercurys.  This same license lite assembly was used on 1957 Thunderbirds.  The Thunderbird lens retainer was chrome plated rather than the cadmium plating used on the Mercury unit.  The license lite body has "ML-57....FoMoCo" stamped under the light socket hole.  The original plastic lens has "ML-57...FoMoCo" raised in the plastic.  The plastic lens is in excellent used condition with no cracks but does have a small mark in the lens.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or aftermarket license light assembly with an assembly line original.   Payment is expected within 10 days of the close of the auction. Also please see my other eBay auctions and eBay Store for more Ford and Thunderbird parts. We charge actual shipping only and are always glad to combine shipping on several auctions or you would be welcome to pick them up at our shop. Thanks!

Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept at Tokyo

Thu, 01 Oct 2009

The Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept - a hybrid crossover The ‘PX’ bit of the name is Mitsubishi’s code for Plug-in Hybrid Crossover (saves a bit of room on the boot lid), so the PX-MiEV gets a 1.6 litre 4-pot to drive the front wheels together with an electric motor. An additional electric motor is used to power the rear wheels when circumstances dictate. The PX-MiEV can also run for up to 30 miles in EV mode, after which it turns in to a hybrid to drive and recharge the batteries.

Huge gallery of Aston Martin Rapide Photos It took Aston Martin an age to bring the Aston Martin Rapide from concept to the road. And it seems to have taken them almost as long to get round to doing some decent pictures of the Rapide. But they’ve finally got round to doing it, and have sent us a huge gallery of images of the new 4-door coupe.
